Georeferencing: Callow Hill

A walk around Egham, through some 'hollow ways' and pathways up to Callow Hill
Callow Hill means 'the bare hill,' but I saw a lot of trees.
There must be a barren part somewhere.
Walking through The Great Wood (as it is called on Google Maps)
I eventually reached Virginia Water
A steep wooded valley behind some mansions
At the end of the road, a locked gate
On the wrong side
I walked back down the valley
And back up Callow Hill
Both Google and OpenStreet Maps show the hill to be heavily wooded
The georeferencing lesson?
Don't trust the name
The landscape might have changed
Grown up around it, as it were
(Note: there is a Callow Hill in Worcestershire)
